2024 String Band Champions

South Philadelphia String Band takes the #1 Spot

When the confetti settled and it was all said and done I had a strong feeling South Philly would be at the top.
First of all when I saw the Gold Christmas Ball suits I knew that would captivate the judges. Before they performed I had them winning on presentation alone. It wasn't presentation alone that had me sold, the band sounded amazing! After their performance while waiting to march down Broad St. they even had a few Quaker City guys feeling the #SPSB vibe. The band played their hearts out! Well deserved win!
